Senior Developer

Full-time Remote (US-based) Engineering

Oxiyen builds the business applications that enterprises actually need. Commerce, data, automation. Connected to the systems they already run on. Small team. Senior people. No handoffs.

The Role

You'll work directly with clients to understand how their business runs: the processes, the data flows, the edge cases nobody documented. Then you'll design and build the applications that make it work better. Not just the happy path. The parts that break in production.

You're senior enough to own the outcome, not just the code. The person who understands the client's problem is the same person building the solution.

What You'll Do

Build applications that connect to ERP systems, commerce platforms, and cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure
Work directly with clients to understand their business operations, map data structures, and define the rules the software needs to enforce
Contribute to technical decisions: architecture, data modeling, integration approach. You're not handed a spec.
Build data transformation, validation, and monitoring. The things that keep applications running after launch.
Own what you build through production. Monitoring, debugging, optimization, security.
Write things down. Architectures, specs, decisions. The team and the client both use what you document.
Contribute to Oxiyen's products (PIM, Mobile Commerce) and internal tooling

What We're Looking For

Several years of experience with enterprise systems: ERPs, commerce platforms, or cloud infrastructure
Strong with APIs, data transformation, and error handling. You've debugged the ones that break at 2am.
Comfort working directly with clients and understanding how their business operates
Someone who cares about what happens after launch. Not just before.
You write things down. If it's not documented, it didn't happen.

Nice to Have

Experience with B2B commerce platforms or procurement workflows
Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure
Experience with compliance standards: SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI DSS
Familiarity with functional programming concepts and immutable data structures

By day 90: You own a workstream. The client knows your name. You're the person who understands why it was built that way.
